Complete Contract Online and Printing Underway

Our new Contract has been completed with new sideletters, definitions, and index. We appreciate your patience as this process has taken place. We wanted this contract to go out complete with as many of the sideletters as possible. In our last contract, many side letters were added after the contract was printed and the majority of Flight Attendants did not know their contract rights were being violated as they did not have the sideletters. The sideletters were supposed to be available at all bases, and that was not always the case. Even if a base had them, they were difficult to locate.

While the Contract is being printed, you can download it from our MEC website at www.afaeagle.org .

You can now also access our MEC website at any base Crew Room company computer. The file is an Adobe pdf file so you will need Adobe Reader to download it. It is available free at www.adobe.com . Also available on our MEC website are important articles on changes from the old to new contract and advise on how to use the contract to your benefit along with examples including Pay Issues, Duty Times, and Reserve Issues.
