Bad addresses- How does a bad address indicator appear on a F/A’s record?

In most cases, the Membership Services Department has had mail returned to it by the US Postal Service. Some of the reasons indicated by the USPS are:

1. Moved, left no forwarding address
2. Forwarding order has expired
3. No such Number, No such Road
4. An Apartment# needs to be included

If you have contacted the F/A and have confirmed that the address on their record is the correct address, contact the Membership Services Department and ask us to remove the bad address indicator from the F/A’s record and we will try again.

Remember good addresses are essential to communicate with our membership, and we cannot collect current and or delinquent dues from the F/A’s without them.

What is a Dues Check Off Form?

The dues Check off form is often confused with the Membership Application.
The Dues Check Off form authorizes the company to deduct dues/service charges from the flight attendant’s paycheck. It does not NOT make them a member. It is the easiest way to pay your dues. Many of our delinquent problems could be avoided if we received a Dues check off form from every flight attendant.

If a probationary flight attendant signs a Dues Check Off form AFA International will submit the form to the company for the dues/service charge the month after the flight attendant completes probation.

The Dues Check Off form is used strictly within contractually represented airlines containing a DCO provision in their contract.
