CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS
June 6,2005 - American Eagle Negotiations Update
At the direction of the MEC, the Negotiations Team met again with
management on June 1 & 2. The negotiations took place at the National Mediation Board under the auspices of a mediator.
The issues remaining to be resolved were wages and POs. After two
long days we left without agreement. While we attempted to be creative and address what the company outlined as its concerns, they seemed unwilling to make any
significant movement. At 2:30 AM the mediator adjourned the session. No further negotiation dates where set.
The Negotiations team meets with the MEC this week in Miami. More details will be forthcoming after
that meeting.
